Returning after weeks/months of tourism it feels great to dive back into some unfinished tracks with a new perspective.
The life story of Mirage is an interesting one as it has gone through a number of transformations before we finally hit the pocket with Sophie nailing the vocals and bringing it to life.
The inspiration for it came when a temporary mobile phone of mine rang during a lunch break and Nic casually commented on the quality of the said tone and the fact it would make a great sample in a RnB track. I agreed and we spent the rest of the evening developing Mirage.
